SRS Highly Commended at the One Slough Awards

We are so proud that SRS were highly commended at the One Slough Awards on Friday, 16th November 2024 for the One Slough Public Sector Partnership Award with Slough Borough Council.
This award was earned by SRS because of collaborating strategically with Helen Buckland, Asylum and Refugee Lead at the council, and being commissioned to support services for asylum seekers and refugees in the Slough area.
Louise Sprackling, chair of SRS trustee board, and Rose Njoroge, senior caseworker, accepted the commendation. Louise said, “It is a proud moment for SRS to be recognised for developing our partnership with SBC over the last year. Through this collaboration, we are creating increased capacity to meet the needs of asylum seekers and refugees in Slough. Our vision is to create a holistic approach to welcoming asylum seekers and refugees in Slough and ease the journey to settle and thrive in the Slough community. We are looking forward to developing our partnership in the coming months.”
