Foreign Currency Collection

Did you know that we can turn your unused foreign money into British cash to boost our funds?

 

We can also take old British coins and notes that are no longer legal tender and get cash for them.

 

Can you hold a foreign currency collection to help us support our refugees and asylum seekers?

We would be very grateful if you could organise a foreign currency collection at your workplace, school, faith organisation or sports club.  We would come along and collect the foreign currency and old British currency and take it to be turned into funds, which we can use to support our refugee and asylum seeking clients.

The money collected will go towards Slough Refugee Support's emergency fund. This is used to purchase much needed clothing for adults and children, make up food parcels, buy school equipment and allow our team to respond to a variety of emergencies..

 

NOW is the ideal time for a foreign currency collection.  We all have unwanted coins and notes left lying around - brought back from holidays or a foreign work trip. We can supply collection boxes and come along to pick them up.
